Technology Transfer Agreements

All technology transfer agreements involving the transfer of systematic knowledge for the manufacture of a product or the application of a process, rendering of a service including management contracts, and the transfer, assignment or licensing of all forms of industrial property rights including licensing of computer software, (except computer software developed for mass market) must conform with the provisions of the Intellectual Property Code. Criteria used in evaluation of the agreements are: (a) the need for the technology or industrial property; (b) the reasonableness of the fees; (c) the absence of restrictive business clauses.
