Restriction as to nationality: free domain name can be registered by legal entities and individuals performing independent activities in the Republic of Croatia. Chargeable domain can be registered by legal entities with a place of business in one of the member States of the EU, or individuals citizens of one of the member States of the EU.

Dispute about ownership: an arbitral proceeding can be initiated, but the case can also be brought before the court.
