Protection

Registration is not possible and there is no official registry for registration of copyright works. Copyright protection is automatic and free from the moment a work is created. 

Duration: (a) where there is a single author: during the lifetime of the author, plus 50 years after his death; (b) for collective works and audio visual works: 75 years from the date on which the work was first published, or 100 years from the making of the work, if the work had neither been made available to the public or published before twenty-five years after its making; (c) for works of applied art: 25 years from the making of the work.
