Country code top-level domain name: .ng
Sub-domains: .edu.ng; .sch.ng; .com.ng; .gov.ng; .org.ng; .net.ng; .mil.ng; .name.ng; .mobi.ng
Applicant: individuals and legal entities.
Restriction as to nationality: none.
Local presence: only required for .edu.ng, .sch.ng, .gov.ng, .mil.ng and .net.ng sub-domains.
Domestic trademark right: not required for obtaining domain name registration.
Domain name can be registered as a trademark: yes.
Registration, Protection
Duration: one year.
Renewal/maintenance: one year, renewable.
Dispute about ownership: to be brought before the Federal High Court, the Negotiation and Conflict Management Group (NCMG) or the International Centre for Arbitration (ICA).
Uniform dispute resolution procedure: none, but an administrative procedure other than UDRP is available before NIRA.
