Protection

Definition: a trade secret is information that is not a State secret and is related to the production, technology, administration, financial and other activities of an economic entity, the disclosure of which may harm its interests. The information must (1) have actual or potential value for a business entity; (2) not be generally known or publicly available; (3) be marked accordingly with the adoption by business entities of appropriate measures to preserve its confidentiality through a system for classifying said information, developing internal rules for classifying them, introducing appropriate labeling of documents and other information carriers; (4) not constitute a State secret and not be protected by copyright, related rights and patents; (5) not contain information about the negative activities of individuals and legal entities that can damage the interests of the State.
