Domain Names
Legal Basis
There is no specific legislation although some regulations on the organization and management of country code top-level domain names do exist.
On September 18, 2006 a registry-registrar model for the registration and management of .lu domain names was introduced. The registration of domain names has thus been enlarged by the introduction of a network of approved registration agents (registrars).
